On September 21, Sports Seoul reported that Rosé had renewed her contract with YG Entertainment. The report then states that other members, Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa, will be signing with different labels.

The report adds that YG Entertainment is currently negotiating an agreement among the other three members to promote as BLACKPINK members for six months out of the year.
